Rain started just as a water shortage was announced in Lancashire and a hose pipe ban was introduced. It rained until the ban was lifted in late August. Since the ban the weather has been quite kind again with many lovely days fo walking and taking in the beautiful views.

First lambs are arriving in the fields surrounding Wolfen Mill, its a real sign of spring.
An abundant display of snow drops makes for an early display as well, The weather has been just great recently and any frost simply makes for better walking conditions.
