Buy local and support the local economy.
i am wondering if this is the dairy that was proctors cheese where i worked as a youth .
i can remember turning large cheeses in the roof area and adding the salt to the curds after they had been separated overnight
i think the local farmer was tim gornall
if i am right i might have to pay a visit and remenice old times
Amazing, Yes this is the ´original´ Wolfen Mill Dairy, however the dairy did move later in its history to goose lane on the other side of the village. That property is now goose lane cottages a range of apartments. So one or the other will be the building in which you worked. The Proctor family are still selling cheese from the village under the management of Tim Proctor jnr.
